Optical rotation detection in a chiral scattering medium with an amplitude sensitive balanced detection polarimeter

Abstract

A amplitude sensitive balanced detection polarimeter is setup. The polarization gating and the spatial coherence gating enable to reduce the scattering effect. The glucose concentration in a polystyrene microsphere scattering medium was measured successfully.
