Abstract

This study is evaluated the performance of wireless is universal serial bus (WUSB) transmission system by Wimedia alliance defined. WUSB adopts the multi-band orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (MB-OFDM) ultra-wideband(UWB) technology to raise the transmission data rate up to480Mbps. An experimental WUSB system is setup to demonstrate its performance for high data rate and excellent packet error rate (PER) at various short distances on free space.
