Abstract

Three uremic patients receiving hemodialysis for more than 5 years became pregnant and proceeded to the third trimester. A variety of complications were noted, including threatened abortion, vanished twin, preterm premature rupture of membranes, polyhydramnios, intra‐uterine fetal death, intra‐uterine growth retardation, premature labor and hypertension. Two of these 3 mothers gave birth to healthy babies under the management of the high‐risk pregnancy team. 1991 Acta Obstet Gynecol Scand
