Abstract

Neuroblastoma is a solid malignancy commonly found in infants and children. Recently, prenatal diagnosis of neuroblastoma has been reported with increasing frequency. We present here our experience with the prenatal diagnosis and perinatal management of four cases of fetal neuroblastoma. The predominant ultrasound feature of the fetal neuroblastoma is a suprarenal cystic tumor with irregular echogenic contents. The increasing use of obstetric ultrasound has made prenatal screening of neuroblastoma possible and its prognosis may be improved with this early approach.
