Abstract
We report here a case of a 30-year-old man with primary syphilis of the tonsil diagnosed by light microscopy; he presented with a tonsillar ulcer and pain on swallowing. As a new case report of primary tonsillar syphilis, the pathological diagnosis was challenging due to insufficient clinical information. We here describe the detailed microscopic findings and compare the differences with the 12 previously reported cases.
