Abstract

A new kind of transform called the vector finite Hankel transform (VFHT) is devised to tackle the determination of resonant frequencies of shielded microstrip ring resonators. The inverse VFHT is also established. Numerical experiments are performed to validate the new transform. Calculated resonant frequencies are confirmed with available measurements.
