Abstract
In this paper, a new watermarking scheme proposed with emphasis on image authentication and tampering detection. This scheme intends for determining where the image has been altered to the act of a malicious party; and further, the un-malicious manipulation like compression or brightness changing can be excluded. The experimental results show that the proposed scheme can detect the tamper. And it is robust to unintentional tampering like general signal processing. Our proposed scheme is therefore an efficient and robust image verification technique.
