Abstract

165-170. The fine structure of some nervous elements of the infective larva of Breinlia sergenti has been studied. Both clear nerve cells and neurosecretory cells producing dense spherical vesicles and dense-cored vesicles have also been observed. A description of the nerve terminals and synaptic junctions in the nerve ring area is given. The possible role of the dense vesicles in this parasitic stage is discussed.
