Abstract

A 23-month-old girl with abdominal distension for one year was suspected to have ascites. Using abdominal ultrasound, the diagnosis of giant lymphangioma was made based on the demonstration of a huge cyst occupying the whole abdomen with multiple internal septations. The diagnosis was confirmed at laparotomy.
