Abstract
A case of spontaneous intraperitoneal bladder rupture that was spontaneously healed in a one-year-old girl is reported. The subsequent drainage of the contrast medium in the peritoneal cavity via the urethral catheter after retrograde cystography implies that such a rupture may be successfully treated by a urethral bladder drainage and antibiotics.
