Abstract

The effects of Ag nanoparticles in aqueous solution on surface plasmon resonance (SPR) reflectivity is reported. The nanoparticles aqueous solution was produced by laser ablation method. Using a "Kretchmann " configuration surface plasmon resonance sensor, the SPR angles shifted increase with the relative concentration of Ag nanoparticles and can be used to evaluate the Ag nanoparticles concentration of aqueous solution.
