Abstract
根據用戶網路對頻寬擴充性及機動性的需求,我們提出一個二階雙向光路徑保護環形(BWPPR)網路架構應用在高密度波長多工/次載波多工用戶存取網路上。在網路的達端節點(RN)及集合節點(CN)設計一保護裝置,當鏈路故障時,僅用簡單之光開關即可重組網路回復運轉。此架構可提供高穩定度、高彈性、高頻寬及低價位的區域接取網路。最後實際設立一實驗網路,以證明此架構之可行性。
We propose a broadband fiber-wireless access network (BFWAN) based on a two-level bidirectional wavelength path protect ring (BWPPR) architecture. The BWPPR can perform a self-healing function under fiber links failure. Moreover, we employ Quadrature Phase-Shift Keying (QPSK) modulation, which exhibits better spectral efficiency, on up. Down-stream subcarrier channels. The maximum bidirectional data rate for each customer unit (CU) can be up to 10 Mbit/s at 1.9GHz. this architecture can provide an excellent reliability, flexibility, large bandwidth and cost-effective service for future broadband wireless networks. Finally, we practically set up an experimental fiber-wireless network to demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed architecture.
