Abstract

The focus of this study is to investigate the sintering mechanism of polyethylene polymers. Different experiments were proposed and designed to observe the high temperature sintering behaviors of both low density polyethylene (LDPE) and linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE). Experimental investigation will provide an improved understanding of the polymers' sintering mechanism during the processing.
