Abstract

We report a rare case of stenotic double-orifice mitral valve of incomplete bridge type in a 40-year-old male. The fibrous bridge tissue between the leaflets was successfully split with a 24-mm Inoue balloon catheter using the stepwise dilation technique. (C) 2000 Wiley-Liss, Inc.
