Abstract
A case of a live cervical pregnancy, β-hCG level reaching a peak of 100, 180 mIU/ml, was treated successfully with potassium chloride which was vaginosonographically guided and injected into the sac to arrest fetal cardiac activity. This was followed with carefully monitored methotrexate therapy to avoid overdosing and its side effects. This method can not only retain conception but also avoid dose-dependent side effects of methotrexate.
