Abstract

Theoretical time-domain results for sub-nano second pulse propagation along multiple coupled microstrip lines (MCMLs) are presented. Emphasis is placed on finding proper and realistic terminations for the MCMLs with minimal signal degradations in MMIC (millimeter-wave and microwave monolithic integrated circuits). An optimal load terminating condition considering electrical performance and cost effectiveness is tested and presented.
