The Sexual Satisfaction Experience of Pregnant Women: An Exploratory Study

　　　　　本研究的目的，乃基於相關孕婦性生活之研究大抵以醫學體系為出發點的量性調查性研究居多，缺乏由孕婦女性觀點層面剖析的性經驗內容，而期望對孕婦性生活能更有深入的瞭解背景下出發，以質性研究方法，探討孕婦性滿足經驗之內容。收樣地點在北部一所醫學中心產科門診，以妊娠十三至三十五週，無妊娠合併症者為收樣對象，共計十二位孕婦接受訪談，以半結構式會談方式 (semi-structured interview)，讓受訪者敘述其孕期性滿足經驗，運用現場錄音記錄其會談內容，以言辭分析法 (narrative analysis) 分析資料。研究結果顯示，孕婦性滿足經驗之主要構成要素有三：(1) 性心理層面之滿足；(2) 性生理層面之滿足；及 (3) 性與懷孕事實獲得統整。 本研究結果肯定孕期性滿足在懷孕家庭的調適與婚姻關係上扮演的角色與意義，並可作為護理人員提供懷孕夫婦性生活之參考。
　　　　　The aim of the study is to explore something more encompassing, that is the women's experience of sexual satisfaction during pregnancy. A qualitative paradigm was selected. 12 participants were obtained through a purposive sampling of outpatients registered in the antepartum clinic of a medical center in northern Taiwan. Data collection consisted of semi-structured interviews and tape-recordings. Narrative analysis provided three major categories for organizing the sexual satisfaction experience of pregnant women: (1) The formative background (2) the constituent and (3) the significance and influences of the sexual satisfaction experience of pregnant women. The study found that the sexual satisfaction of pregnant women consisted of three elements: (1) psycho-sexual satisfaction (2) physiological satisfaction and (3) integration of sexual role and maternity. These findings may provide some direction for the health care provider to assist couples in creating a "future biography" of what their sexual life will be like during pregnancy.
