Objectives: This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (intervention). The objectives are as follows:. To evaluate the effectiveness and safety of topical corticosteroids compared with placebo, artificial tears, other steroidal or non-steroidal therapies, or a combination of therapies for dry eye disease.
