Abstract

In this article, a broadband tunable Ytterbium-doped fiber passive mode-locked ring laser in 1060 nm utilizing bidirectional pumping structure is proposed. It has more stable pulse and higher repetition rate output than the constructive fiber ring laser. Moreover, this laser can provide more convenient to use in medical field. © 2014 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Microwave Opt Technol Lett 56:1468-1470, 2014
