Abstract
We describe four patients with congenital absence of vagina (Mayer-Rokitansky-Kuster-Hauser syndrome) who had a neovaginoplasty performed via a laparoscopically assisted approach. Pelvic peritoneum was used for the construction of a vagina based on the methods of Rothman and Adamyan, replacing a laparotomy by a minimally invasive laparoscopic approach. Excellent results with the additional advantages of cosmetic and economic benefits were noted during the follow-up.
