Abstract

This paper proposes a Z-source inverter (ZSI) system for standalone photovoltaic generation system (PGS). The advantages of ZSI include high reliability, high efficiency, low cost and compact size. The operation principle, design considerartion and control method of the system will be presented. Experimental results will also be provided to validate the correctness of the proposed system.
