title = "An integrated microfluidic system for bacteria detection by using mannose-binding lectin",
abstract = "Periprosthetic joint infection (PJI) is one of the most challenging complications after arthroplasty. It is challenging in clinical practice to fight methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) PJI. In this work, a new integrated microfluidic system by utilizing mannose-binding lectin (MBL) coated beads and polymerase chain reaction (PCR) is therefore reported for detection of bacteria. It is the first time that antibiotics-resistant and biofilm-related bacteria could be diagnosed on an integrated microfluidic system.",
