摘要

In the Abstract section, the Results section, the Discussion section of the article, errors concerning data entry were found. 1. In the Abstract section, 1.39 – 1.41: the sentence has been changed from Only 14.3% of patients suffered from TIs when the mean radiation dose was <5000 cGy compared with 28.3% when the mean dose was 5000 cGy. to Only 10.5% of patients suffered from TIs when the mean radiation dose was <5000 cGy compared with 38.7% when the mean dose was 5000 cGy. 2. In the Results section, 3.117-3.120: the sentence has been changed from When the mean oral cavity dose was <5000 cGy, only 14.3% of patients suffered from TI compared with 28.3% when the mean oral cavity dose was 5000 cGy. to When the mean oral cavity dose was <5000 cGy, only 10.5% of patients suffered from TI compared with 38.7% when the mean oral cavity dose was 5000 cGy. 3. In the Discussion section, 7.5-7.10: the sentence has been changed from To minimize the effects of radical surgery (particularly glossectomy), we excluded patients undergoing surgery and found that the mean radiation doses to the parotid glands and oral cavity predicted TIs (Table 4). When the mean dose to the oral cavity was <5000 cGy, only 14.3% of patients developed TIs compared with 28.3% when the mean dose was 5000 cGy. To minimize the effects of radical surgery (particularly glossectomy), we excluded patients undergoing surgery and found that the mean radiation doses to the parotid glands and oral cavity predicted TIs (Table 5). When the mean dose to the oral cavity was <5000 cGy, only 10.5% of patients developed TIs compared with 38.7% when the mean dose was 5000 cGy. These errors have now been corrected.
