Experimental computer network and software development for the distributed state estimator

摘要

In this paper, we have set up an experimental PC-network and developed a software for real distributed state estimation. We also present the flow chart of the application program associated with communication software program in each PC. We tested several cases of distributed state estimation on the IEEE 118-bus system in this PC-network. The results are very successful, and we found that the distributed state estimator executed in a real computer network converges even at the presence of drastic computational asynchronism, communication errors and actual communication link failures.
