摘要

Fluoxetine may produce extrapyramidal symptoms which are characterized by dystonia, akathisia, and postural tremor. Parkinsonism, manifested by cogwheel rigidity, resting tremor and bradykinesia, as an adverse reaction of fluoxetine has been rarely reported. We report a case of fluoxeine-induced parkinsonism in a 30-year-old man with depressive syndrome, who did not receive any neuroleptics before symptom onset. His parkinsonian feastures developed 7 days after fluxetine treatment with a daily dose of 10 mg, and disappeared within 2 weeks after discontinuation of fluoxetine. The development of parkinsonism after intiation of fluoxetine and the resolution of symptoms upon drug withdrawal provide evidence that parkinsonism is an adverse effect of fluoxetine.
