摘要

In vitro 3D cell culture device embedded with stimulating electrodes was developed for the investigation of disruption of cell colony formation process. Cells encapsulated in soft hydrogel were cultured and proliferated to cell colonies in the device. Alternating electric field was then applied to investigate the response of cell colonies. Results showed that the electric field at frequency of 130 kHz and potential of 0.5 Vp-p was the most effective conditions to inhibit the growth of cancer cell colonies.
