摘要

Conventional diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) measures water diffusion parameters base on a gaussian function. However, water movement in biological tissue is often nongaussian and the non-gaussian behavior contain useful information related to tissue structure. This study is using the kidney of normal volunteers' image to demonstrate the biexponential model. The kurtosis can denote the extent nongaussianity of renal diffusion, so we use the many set of b-values to calculate the mean kurtosis image.
