摘要

This meta-analysis investigates the concurrent application of artificial intelligence (AI) and spiritual science in guiding the transformation of self-cognitive imagery among higher education learners. The study encompasses 35 learners from two institutions, including non-design majors from an unconventional wilderness arts university and undergraduates taking the “Quantum Resonance Design” course in a university general education curriculum. Through the fusion of AI tools, such as ChatGPT and Bing AI Image, with Eastern and Western philosophies, including Jungian psychology and dynamic meditation activities, the research explores their integration into teaching planning and design. Results show the significant positive impact of AI tools on design thinking education for non-design majors and the profound transformation and deep self-awareness brought about by the intervention of spiritual science. Challenges in integrating spiritual science elements into teaching, particularly among STEM students, highlight the need for open dialogue and inclusion of potential curricula, such as life design workshops. Under the guidance of life philosophy, students engage in profound self-exploration through activities like mandala painting and free writing, empowered by AI techniques to create impressive sketches based on text-based concepts with sustainable design principles. This study underscores the significant changes in learners’ future learning imagination through ongoing spiritual inspiration and design technology intervention, ultimately promoting positive changes in learner mental imagery and aligning with the goal of fostering interdisciplinary talents in higher education.
