摘要
Metastatic carcinoma in the salivary glands is rare. The primary neoplasms are usually found in the head and neck region via the operation of radical neck dissection and salivary gland tumor excision. This is the report of 12 cases of metastatic deposit in the submandular and parotid glands with the primary lesion of advanced head and neck cancer. Patients with metastatic malignancy in the salivary gland, though receiving extensive and aggressive treatment, still get a poor prognosis.
