摘要
The paper models the performance characteristics of crossbar multiprocessors under hot spot contention. The effect of hot spot contention in previous works was under-estimated because the blocked requests were assumed to be discarded. The model in the paper provides more accurate results by taking into account the retransmission of blocked requests.
