摘要

A new separation technique, called distillative freezing (DF), has been successfully applied to separate p-xylene from a liquid mixture of m-xylene and p-xylene. A discussion on BF covers operating parameters; the Parex process for the separation of p-xylene from the mixed xylenes; feasibility of DF in separating the mixture of p-diethylbenzene and m-diethylbenzene; and experimental recovery rates. This is an abstract of a paper presented at the 41st Annual Loss Prevention Symposium (Houston, TX 4/22-26/2007).
