摘要
An innovative simulation has been developed based upon the guidelines described. In particular, it makes use of a finite-element/finite-difference/control-volume numerical scheme to simulate the flow in three-dimensional thin parts. The viscosity model, which is typically a function of temperature, conversion, shear rate and time, can be customized depending on the material and application. In addition, heat of reaction is included in the energy equation. Curing kinetics of the material is also calculated during both filling and post-filling stages. Any kinetic model where the rate of reaction is a function of temperature, conversion and time can be employed. An illustrative example is given to demonstrate the capability of the model to simulate reactive flow in complex 3D cavities.
