Source-assisting full-diversity DQOSTBC in wireless relay networks

摘要

Previously, a source-assisting (SA) traditional distributed quasi-orthogonal space time block code (DQOSTBC) is proposed for a DAF relay network with one source node, one destination node and multiple relay nodes. The SA scheme reduces the number of relay node by one. However, the decoding at the relays may occur and SA traditional DQOSTBC may lose full-diversity. In this paper, we propose full-diversity source-assisting DQOSTBC scheme for three relays. The main contribution is that we design the source-assisting distributed QOSTBC code matrices for 2 3=8 cases. Each relay is in AAF or DAF mode when its source-relay channel coefficient is below or above the threshold. The simulation results show that the proposed SA-DQOSTBC outperforms the previous SA-DQOSTBC by 4 dB at 10-3 bit error rate (BER).
