The intelligent temperature control for electric vehicle A/C cooling subsystem

摘要

This paper is to investigate the intelligent method to control the evaporative cooler temperature for automobile which air conditioning (A/C) compressor driven by electric motor. Generality, fuel vehicle A/C system is driven by engine; the speed of engine is not constant, the refrigeration cycle has many disturbances from environment and load is time varying, but its control method is usually ON/OFF control, these cause setting temperature to be drifting. For battery electric vehicle (BEV), it must be driven by electric motor, we control the speed of automobile compressor with model reference neural network control method, it controls the temperature of A/C subsystem indirectly. With simulation result, the intelligent method is better than ON/OFF control.
